New Designs!

Four new BijouStix designs have been posted in the LongLocks catalog, the Special Edition Designs page has been updated, and three “last chance” special order designs have been moved to Hair To­day, Gone Tomorrow (two BijouStix designs and one SwingStix design)!  This set of new designs is just full of really special stuff (like the genuine carnelian gemstone beads to the left, that are actually engraved and hand painted with beautifully detailed gold dragons, and set into 22kt. gold vermeil flower bead caps), be sure to check out all the supreme yumminess!

New Index Page & Stuff!

I’ve redesigned the LongLocks HairSticks Boutique home page in anticipation of the cleaner, stream­lined site design I am aiming for, please let me know what you think! I know the new menu will take a bit of getting used to and it is going to even­tually be the same throughout the site. If you can’t find what you’re looking for in the side menu, don’t forget the small links at the very top of the page will get you on your way to just about anywhere on the site you want to be. The Hair Care Articles index page has also been reorganized to make things eas­ier for you to find, and links to LongLocks on social media have been added to it. The hidden gem of LongLocks, our PRX Player, has also been updated and is working again with a brand new streaming player. If you haven’t discovered PRX Remix Radio yet, you just gotta check it out… it is awesome (please remember to keep the tab with the player on it at LongLocks open as long as you would like to listen, it will stop when you close it!)

Susan’s Designer Closet!

I’m trying really hard to find some time to add more goodies to Susan’s Designer Closet. For those who are unfamiliar, this is the area of the site where I pass on de­signer fashion goodies from my own closet, most of it unused and in mint condition, for a fraction of the retail price so I can make room in my dressing room to add new stuff get dressed!  Keep your eye on it or the What’s New page, I’m sure I’ll get around to updating it before too long.

Fun Web Stuff

This week’s fun web stuff takes us to My Modern Met. We are often amazed by drawings and paintings on the web by artists so adept at realism you can’t tell them from photographs, but how often do you see photographs that look like paintings… photos that aren’t intentionally tweaked to look that way?
