These are gorgeous! The glass artist used both transparent and opaque glass in these lampwork beads, so you can actually see through the transparent blues to the swirls of opaque layers beneath them! LOVE that!

The end of each of these hair pins is adorned with a lucious lampwork lentil bead in both transparent and opaque hues of aqua blue, turquoise blue and dusty blue, hand crafted by glass artist Merianne Fess, nestled into an ornate 22kt. gold vermeil flower bead cap. A gold plated aqua blue crystal rhinestone rondelle occupies the center position. A Swarovski Caribbean Blue Opal crystal, topped with a vermeil flower bead cap, sits below. Gold plated heishi beads complete the hair jewelry design. The hair sticks are elegantly carved bone, dyed jet black and finished with hand applied aqua blue genuine mother-of-pearl gemstone flakes that reflect a pearlescent rainbow of hues, under many layers of protective clear enamel.
