If you haven't seen Dangerous Beauty you're really missing something!!
Catherine McCormack has beautiful hair and the styles-breathtaking!!  I wish they had done a ton of close ups on her hair so I could figure it out.
Rufus Sewell is also in it, oh such lovely green eyes...
This is a true story of Veronica Franco.  She kicked ass in her day!
Put this one on your MUST SEE/RENT list!!

I get my inspiration from my favourite movies, like LOTR and Star Wars. Latter has often very complicated hairdos, but it gives ideas.

BraiderSC - should have realized you'd be a Buttercup fan - I love her hair too, even with the hairpieces helping!  Amazing how she rolls down the hill to the fire swamp and doesn't end up with a rat's nest on her head Cheesy
AS --YOU-- WISH!!

I never could figure out how they kept her hair neat and untangled!  Especially after she took a swim.  Btw, I bet you're the first one who's able to figure out what those words in my avatar mean! [as you wish.....Westley never dies]  That's my all-time favorite movie. Grin

BraiderSC - my sons' youth group watched the movie ad nauseum for a year or more and all of the kids can repeat it almost verbatim.  Fortunately it is also one of my favorite movies -- fairytale stuff with great comedy!  Miracle Max (Billy Crystal) and his wife (Carol Kane) were the absolute cat's meow -- even if they didn't have much to offer in the way of long hair styles Grin

So many Princess Bride fans here:) It's one of my favorite movies as well and I pretty much know it by heart, the book too. I just love the gowns and hairstyles Buttercup wears around the castle and for the "wedding" scene.

I forgot to mention the movie somewhere in time with
Jane Syemour and Christopher Reeve.  I just love
Janes hairstyles in the movie, the turn of the century
style all poofy in front and then she takes it down
in that one scene?  I've always loved her hair.

Jane Seymour is the inspiration for my hair today.  I have been in love with her hair since I was a little girl.

I read in a magazine that Kiera Knightley cut her hair.  It had a picture with it, and I realize I'm biased, but she looked so much better w/ long hair.   Cry

I don't think I've seen Alanis Morrisette's hair yet.  I live under a rock.   Wink  That would be almost too depressing to see....

Does anyone remember Mia Farrow, on Payton Place? She had pretty hair, I remember and then she cut it off to where it was about an inch long all over.

The Phantom of the Opera has some lovely updos.  Even though Christine's hair probably is a wig of some sort.

Princess Bride is one of my favorites!  Maybe I'll watch the DVD today.

In Phantom, I liked the older lady's hair.  She had some braids or ropes going on there - I couldn't reverse engineer the styles.  Sad  Christine supposedly had extensions.  There is a pic somewhere where she has her hair pulled back, and you can see them in her hairline.  Nevertheless, still pretty!

Along the lines of fantasy movies, I loved Drew Barrymore's hair in Ever After.  AND her dresses.  Cheesy

Is Robin Wright Penn's hair real or extensions in the Princess Bride?  I always thought it looked very real.  I love Jane Seymour's hair.  I am so happy that she never cut it and gave into the temptation to have an "easy" style after having twins in her 40s.  She is an inspiration to me.
