Hi there.....I just registered today and I find your site quite interesting....see i come from Namibia and here there is no hairsalon that specialises on long hair..... most of the hairdressers here only cut off everything ....
So ok now here is my problem....my hair is just above my shoulders and have been through alot ....I have coloured them about 12 times and cut them and permed them....obviously not all in one go...but over say 6 years....just about 2-3 month I have coloured them again and it was quite heavy....my the colour at the bottom is black the rest is brown with about 6 peroxided streaks. Now they are still very healthy because they have been cut quite short ....but I want to keep these coloured hairs of mine healthy even under these conditions.
This is the first time that i see a site like yours and it encouraged me to do the same...everybody allways told me that my hair is not thick enough to be long...but I really wanna try

As you can see I jumped right in and started posting on the first discussion I saw. I just wanted to tell Anais Satin that I love her hair!!! I heard that Kersti Alley streaks her hair w/lemon juice. I have never been able to get this is to work for me, any suggestions?
