Lapis occurs naturally in many shades of blue, and generally the darker the blue the higher the value simply because it is the rarest, but otherwise I'd be at a complete loss as to why... I think the denim blue shades are much prettier than the dark navy blue ones. Much, much prettier!

The ends of these special edition LongLocks hair sticks are adorned with a scrumptious denim blue genuine lapis lazuli gemstone bead, nestled into a heavy ornate Turkish sterling silver flower bead cap. A Preciosa comet argent cushion crystal occupies the center position. A Swarovski Crystal Lapis crystal pearl, topped with a sterling silver flower bead cap, sits below. Silver plated heishi beads complete the hair jewelry design. The hair sticks are carved bone, hand painted in satiny stonewash denim blue under layers of protective clear enamel.
