Trimming your own hair?
Nov 11th, 2009 at 10:23am

I remember long ago, that someone had posted how to trim your own hair by putting it in a pony tail and pulling the hair tie down to the end and trimming it (that's for straight) and there was info on how to do a "v" trim as well, but I can't find it!

Does anyone remember where that was posted?  Huh

Not sure where it is posted here, but I know that this is the most well-known method posted on most long hair forums:

yeah I've been googling and searching all morning trying to find the same one I used before.  I saw Feye's, but it's not explained in enough depth for me to try it.  I don't trust myself, and I'm new to a "V" shape.  I always do straight across.
