hair lacer

Help!!  Before I ever decided to go long, I had seen a girl whose hair was hip length, braided in what she called a "hair lacer".  Where do I find one of those?  I dont know how to explain what it looked like, but it did show up in her hair.  It had a, I dunno, elvish, medieval look to it.  I have already tried different sites pertaining to that kind of hair jewerly and could not find any.  I even tried typing in Indian hair lacer and got nothing.  I have tried braiding tools, not what I was looking for.   I have been on Scandinavian and Renissance hair sites also.  Nothing.  Does such a thing even exist anymore?

Thanks
Debr

I'm pretty sure my local Renaissance Faire sells them.  Try looking that route!

I Googled "hair lacer" and found this.
It looks pretty simple to use and pretty easy to make!

Was this it?

The only hair lacers I've seen are like the one LittleLuc shows.  I'd love to know what you saw.

Wow!  I saw the videos on the different styles you can do with these.  They are almost like the ones I bought from a girl who has a business in Ca.  She was at an expo in NJ and tons of ladies flocked to her booth!
