http://www2u.biglobe.ne.jp/~longhair/photo/gallery_e.html ; Some of them have hair that looks like it's in superb condition from roots to ends!  This is of course just my subjective opinion but there are some of them I think would have more attractive looking hair if they took off "quite a bit" and took better care of their hair in the future so that the hair would have a more uniformly healthy appearance from roots to ends regardless of the bottom shape; horizontal, V shape or U shape. 

There are some hair care tips on the site some where I've found in the past but I'm not sure I remember agreeing with all of the advice.

That is quite a gallery of long hair!  There are differing views on trimming hair.  Some people prefer the "natural" look of hair that has never or is seldom trimmed, others like hair that is thick to the ends.  I like something in between.  A naturally thinning end to the hair, but healthy looking.
