Thanks, Trisha, that was interesting.  I'm getting my hormone and thyroid levels checked this Wednesday.  I'm not really loosing more than normal, but I do think my thickness has decreased with my BC pills.  Maybe it has retarded my growth.

Have you had your levels checked?

At the first of every new calendar year, the university where I work offers free wellness screenings to its employees and spouses.  This year, among other tests, hubby and I had our thyroid(s) checked, and it was fine.  I know my estrogen levels have GOT to be off, since I had a total hysterectomy in 2003.  But I would be averse to using a synthetic replacement, and my gynocologist/surgeon has never mentioned hormone replacement therapy (I think because of the cancer risk).  So...*shrug*
