Awwww, I'm so sorry to read about your problem SamaraNessa.  I have an idea that might solve your problem if you want dark red hair.  I've had my hair that color before over my blonde hair.  my hair was a light pale blonde too.  I had gotten bored with the blonde colour.  So, I darkened it by using this product by Garnier Fructis.  Boy, that was a big mistake.  The shade i applied to my hair was either a plum or a dark auburn.  The reason why i say that it was a big mistake is because a week or so after I applied the colour it started to fade to a purple colour!!!!

It looked like it was trying to lighten back up to being blonde again!!!!  I think it turned purple because of the plum color mixing with the blonde, and me still having the blonde highlights in it.  Well, a month later I put another red colour in by using this product called, "Creme Of Nature." I think the red shade was "Bright Red or Bright Auburn."  I did that and I really liked it. Then a week later I put a semi-permanent hair colour in my  hair which was a sunset red, and the turnout of the colour was really nice, and what I really wanted.

My hair was fiery red.  It looked just like fire and orangy.  Then a couple of weeks later I went back to being blonde again.  I bleached it to a golden blonde.  So, I've worn the blonde hair for 10 months, and just about 2 weeks ago I darkened my hair black now, and now that's fading away to a deep dark brown.  It's really nice though.

But if you want to go deep red or a red shade the by product to use is Nice N' Easy ColorSeal Gloss Coloring.  I've been using it since it came out last year, and it works my hair wonders!!!!  I've always been using Nice N' Easy products for many years!!!!!  And there's a deep conditioning tube that comes with the kit, and you will really love the deep conditioner after you have used it!!!!!  It leaves your just color-treated or highlighted hair so nice, soft, healthy, and shiny looking and feeling!!!!

You're welcome SamaraNessa.  You can purchase the Nice N' Easy products anywhere on the internet or at your local drug store or grocery store.  I think you can also purchase their products at their website as well. I think they direct you to their store's web link.  It is at:  www.walgreens.com. ; Because, they ask you if you want  to buy it then you click on buy, and they'll guide you to the walgreens website to where they are selling the products. 

Where are you from?  I always buy my hair coloring products from my favorite stores, and they are CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens, Ulta, Sally's Beauty Supply, Krogers, and Pulbix.  But you should beable to find the shade you want in Nice N' Easy.  They have Natural Black, Soft Black, Blue Black, Dark Brown, Medium Brown, Dark Auburn, Light Auburn, Medium Blonde, Golden Blonde, Reddish Blonde, Ash Blonde, Light Pale Blonde, and Palest Light Blonde.  If you want to have highlights or all over blonde hair you would have to use a bleach.  Now, whenever I want to go blonde all I use is their Born Blonde Blonding Kit. Now, when I use that it turns my hair to a nice golden blonde.  It doesn't turn my hair blonde to the point of lightest that I actually want but it lightens it.

If I use a plane blonde shade on my natural dark or brown hair it will lighten it up to a bright auburn or a strawberry blonde.  Which I love on me too but I like for my hair to a very pale yellow shade like the shade of a banana or even lighter like almost white or platinum.  Not as white or platinum as Gwen Stefani's but white.  I think her hair is ultmately ultimately white.  I mean, I think her white colored hair is whiter than the natural color of white.  I like Jessican Simpson's sister's platinum blonde hair that she had one year.  Her name is Ashlee Simpson.  I love her as a  blonde rather than a brunette.  It's just like I like myself in both colors, and I love experimenting with different shades of colors!!!!!

I have fun changing up my hair color!!!!  Like, for the next 2 months I will have black and brown hair, and during the spring and summer months I will lighten it back up to blonde again but this time I am going to lighten it back up gradually not so drastically.  I'm not going to go from blonde to black, and then from black, brown, and back to blonde again.  What I am planning on doing between now and spring is right now have black hair for the months of January and Febuary, and then for the months of March, April, and May, lighten it to a nice brown.  Then in June lighten it to a nice medium brown, then in July lighten up to a bright red, then in August lighten it up to a bright or light auburn.  Then in September lighten it up a strawberry blonde.  Then in October lighten it to a medium blonde.  Then in November lighten it to a golden blonde.  Now, all of these processes I will most likely use a blonde shade color to lighten the dark hair.  That is the only way that you can lighten already color-treated hair.  If you go dark and then you want to go back to being light again it is best to gradually lighten up rather then drastically lightening.

And I think by gradually lightening up using the lightest blonde shade that you can find in Nice N' Easy, and continue to use the same blonde shade you started out with from when you first started lightening your  hair from it being black or dark brown, and in today's products of Nice N' Easy it says that if you use Lightest Neutral Pale Blonde, and if you have brown hair you can become a blonde in one step.  I'm not sure if they are just meaning light brown to blonde hair natural.  I really think that is what they mean.  Now, I can be a blonde if I had no color-treated hair from me coloring it black.  Another way I can go back to being blonde again too is that I could let all of my natural hair color grow out, and let all of the black color grow, and start all over again, and just have my hair bleached, and I will have it bleached at home instead of at a salon.  Because, the cost of salons nowadays is entirely too extensive just to have your hair bleached.

And for the shade I like my hair to be I can really do it at home without damaging my own hair.  I have done it several times.  But whenever I want to go ultra light blonde or platinum I use this really good bleaching at home product!!!!  It is by Revlon.  It is called, "Revlon Frost & Glow Blonding Kit."  Now mind you, this is not the latest Frost & Glow Blonding Kit, this is the oldest Frost & Glow Blonding Kit.  It is the product that was made during the years of 2002 through 2006 I think.  But they've discontinued it.  Now, I've  been able to find the product online at eBay.com at a really reasonable price!!!!  You can buy 3 boxes for $18.00.  But I really love the Revlone Frost & Glow Blonding Kit!!!!  It really lightens my hair up to a very very pale blonde shade.

Honestly, you've just got to go for it. Do what makes you happy. It is, after all, your hair. I've dyed my chestnut-brown hair auburn and black in the last few years. No one has actually had the nerve to ask why I had done it but, I suppose, if they had, I would just have told them that I needed a change.

Hi, Samarnessa, I know just what you mean about your hair color changing.  I had pretty blond highlights in light brown hair when I was a child, but the blond highlights faded and I ended up with anemic mouse brown.  I have dying it very dark brown for at least 20 yrs.  I have it done professionally once a month and use deep conditioning treatments about every 2 wks.  I shampoo and condition with Burt's Bees Volume products.  They are sulfate and paraben-free.  My hair is very fine and color gives it body.

You might want to try using a wooden comb, rather than a brush.  Especially if your hair is fine.  Ric the Combmaker is on-line and his combs are great.  Bone combs are also good.  Don't comb or brush your hair in the shower.  Wet hair stretches and breaks.

A very old-fashioned conditioning treatment is using mayonnaise.  Put it on your dry hair, cover with a plastic cap for 30 minutes, then shampoo.   It makes your hair shiny and really hydrates it.  You will love the softness.
