Lisabelle's Hair and Stuff
Jan 1st, 2008 at 9:25am

Dear Hair Diary,

Well its a new year and I wishing everyone health, happiness and great hair growth! Cheesy

Yesterday we needed to get a part for our car so we went to the dealership.  I had a ball!  I sat in all the cars and played with everthing!  It was a Volvo dealership as I have a 20 year old 760 T.  All the cars there were 30,000 dollars and up the most being a 75,000 dollar convertable. Volvo dealerships are so sweet without be too posh.  They gave us coffee and catalogs, what a nice place!

Whenever a Canadian soldier dies in the middle east and his remains are flowen home to CFB Trenton I always say a prayer. Cry  At about 11:00 at night the plane will fly over my house as I'm two hours away from the base.  I wish this war was over and I pray we would just pull out of it....

Well it snowing like mad and it time to do house work. Tongue

bye for now

Lisa: My brother got shipped out 2 days after christmas. He's in Kuwait for a few weeks getting used to the climate, before being shipped to Iraq. I agree, I wish this war would end soon, before anybody else dies. :/

anyway, happy new year!

Dear Hair Diary,

Man it's been cold!!!  We had -12 yesterday. Eeee!!  We had to go out and drop off an old tv and mircowave at the dump, then get food and other stuff and true to form, my car gets sick.  Happly we got home and hubby fixed it so we could continue on.  For the cold I protected my hair with two hats under a woolen hijab, and then a cowl to cover my face up to my eyes. I then put  Elizabeth Adrens extreme cream around my eyes.   Whew!  Lastnight it was -17 so we all cuddled under a big fleecy blanket, bunny included!  Cheesy

Picked up some almond oil yesterday and did a hair oiling.  I had read somewhere that for my hair type almond oil would be good.  My hair sucked it right up.  I also bought my shampoo too, thing is Jason is going through a packaging change, according to the store I buy it from so they did not have the one I ususally use which was the Sea Kelp one.  Now I have tryed the Biotin one from Jason and I had to give it away as I was getting rashes on my forehead from it.  So I picked the Henna one, haven't tryed it yet but will do today!  Smiley

Hubbies at work (praise Shiva!) and I get to do my workout, I'll do the Bellytwins Core workout (oh a tough one)! Shocked

bye for now! Cool

Dear Hair Dairy,

The almond oil worked really well!  And the Henna shampoo was awesome! Silky, shiney hair!

I was board lastnight and did some henna on a few candles

That's exactly the smiley I was imagining when I typed that!!!

Your candles look really cool.  Will it stain the wax or do you leave the paste on permanently?

I have two Zen clocks-LOVE them!  They're the best alarm clocks EVER!!!

Hehe! Grin Right on!
Thanks!  You leave the paste on permanently, now I know there's a way to seal it on but I haven't found out how. Undecided  I don't thing it stains the wax, mind, if done on wood, leather or fabric it does stain.  People do it on drum skins, pictures fames and stuff.

The Zen clocks are so neat!  I use mine to bring me out of a mediation. Cool

Dear Hair Dairy,

Today is wash day.  The weather has warmed up and all the snow is melting.  The humidity has made the house really cold!  I've got the heater candles going to get the chill off.

I've been having fun with henna! Pitctures to come! Hubbies back to work so I've got time to do my dancing Cheesy!

Oooh watched "The Seventh Seal" lastnight at around 1 am.  I haven't see it in years. At the end hubby came into the room with one of my black scarfs around his head.  I just about died!  I screamed and threw hairtoys at him! Grin  I told him he's going as Death for Halloween next year!

Anyway I'm having a hard time getting going today.  Its one of those dark days you just want to sleep...(kicks self in butt)

Dear Hair Diary,

Yawn, strech, ow!  Be working out alot lately.  I'm back to every day now.  It's been so humid!  The snow all melted away and eveything outside is soaked.  The parking lot is like quicksand, eeeww... Tongue

Hair is doing good.  PMS not too good. Lips Sealed Oh well, I never had a good time with it.

On other fronts there nothing much to say so I'm going back to bed!

Dear Hair Diary,

Today I did my zill practice and basicly took it easy.  My back has been killing me and Aunt Flo doesn't make matters any better....

Had a wierd dream about being in a haunted haunted house and then going outside and seeing a train stuck in suspened animation at the rail road tracks.  I took a look around it and the minute I stepped off the train it came back to life to to speak and sped off, strange!...

Hair needs a clarify, I'll do that on Saturday.  On Sunday I have my SIL's engagement party, well sort of, they want to met at Pizza Hut out side of the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) I know these people are strange....

Anyway bye for now!...
