Welp,it's been way too long since I posted,but better to post with a happy occasion!!! 
I went to my cousin Stefanie wedding yesterday in NJ and had a great time.  I saw family from NC that I hadn't seen in years and people who I knew that I hadn't seen for even longer years!!! 
First time I had used a walker with that many people around that I knew,too.  My sister who is my biggest cheerleader and helper was superior as usual.
Everyone loved my salwar kameez!  It is a peach silk 4 piece outfit with lots of sequince and beading on the pants and the kameez.  For an Italian wedding,many people truly appreciated and admired an outfit from another culture.
I wore my hair up in a bun with a Geisha Hairstix that I finally got to use!!!  I bought it over a year ago,it is peach and went perfectly with my outfit.  My hairstix got as many compliments as my outfit did!!!!
I will post pics as soon as I get some.  Surprising that I didn't get a pic alone of myself,all pics were taken with family. 
There is going to be another wedding type reception at my grandmother's house today,too!!!  Since she is 95 we all believed it would be a major hardship for her to try to make the trip from Bklyn. to NJ.  So my cousin wants to have something at her house today.  She and her new husban will come all dressed in wedding attair. 
Since I got home and in bed around 1:30am this morning,don't even ask what I'm doing up this early!!!It's probaly because my oldest cockatiel let me know the sun was up.  Like I needed reminding of that by a 14 year old!!!!
I think I'll wear a baby blue salwar kameez today and definately get single pics of the outfit and the hairsticks I'll wear with it. 
I'll have one day(part of today) before I'm back to puppy training and puppy sitting of my brother'sboxer puppy!  That is a whole other entry of antics and histerical humor!!!  Stay tuned!!!!

Starting the relax and recooperation time after the wedding on Sat. and the garden wedding party on Sunday!  So glad my brother decided to ask my aunt and uncle to watch Champ the puppy today!  Gives me a chance to wash my hair with Babbasu shampoo bar and acv rinse.  I've been using fresh sage and dried rosemary in my acv rinse for a while and like it.  Prep time is ok.
Got another order for my whipped body butter!  Yay!  The girls in the dentist office that I go to really like it!  I'm glad it's selling,too.  Tweeking and getting the recipes "just right" was worth the time,patience and experimenting!!
I think today I will either write up a deep conditioning treatment recipe to use later in the week or just suf the web for some oils and shea butter to use in a new recipe either for hair or lotion.  Maybe I'll have to sew up a lab coat for myself!!!

There's nothing like a boxer puppy with a sense of humor!!!
 The pic is rather large,but hey we do everything large here in Bklyn,lol  The setting is in Grandma's backyard near the fig trees and the grapevines.  My favorite thing to do as a kid was to go in the garden,when my grandfather was alive it was all garden,no grass,I would love to pick and eat figs!  Forget about eating lunch or dinner,I was too full from the figs,peaches and apricots!!!  
I'm still in "shout out mode" to my family for a pic from the actual wedding on Sat. with a pic of me in the outfit with Susan's  hairstick!  Have patience and faith and someone will send me a pic!!!

I hate to say it, CurlGirl... you kinda look like you're about to rip off the camera guy's face with your teeth. And as for figs... I love fresh figs... I had a horse that preferred to wait until they fermented before eating them off the ground.. yes. Luna the Alcoholic Arabian. (she was also senile, and would have flashbacks of her younger years, when she was a race horse. Yep, fun times... clinging desperately to a madly galloping, completely drunk horse with no concept of whoa). Oh yes.. sorry. (/end tangent) It's great that the area has such good memories for you *hug*

I can sort of understand his reasoning behind "no dogs yet"... we don't know if we're staying here past another six months... and it'll be hard enough, if we have to rent somewhere, with two cats. Landlords don't tend to like cats, I've noticed. Also, we don't have much of anywhere to walk ( large, unfenced, UNFRIENDLY dogs down the street in all three directions) so we'd need either a fence, or an in ground shock collar type fence. (my theory is we should just put in a regular electric fence.. not so much to keep future doggeh in, as neighborhood kids OUT!) I still miss having a dog around. I've always had very good luck with German shepherds and shepherd-chow mixes, Although I had a boxer-mastiff-great dane mix once... Big puppy. The parents got rid of her when I was in school one day... too big for the house. and yard. leapt tall fences with barely a bound.  

Thanks,Ladies!  Hugs,Trisha!!  I wish you could  taste those figs,Lisabelle!  Grandpa(when he was alive) was doing organic in his garden 60 years ago.  The figs come out the size of golf balls,the peaches came out the size of navel oranges,the apricots the size of; I don't what to compare them to!!!  The tomatoes were always 2 pounders!!  There is such a difference when you can get organic or buy organic!
