I'm new but need help FAST

I am no good with hair. Let me just say that right off the bat! My daughter has shoulder length hair. Red and very wavy (It was long up untill last weekend when she got it cut) But now it hangs below her neck and is wavy and tends to get a little frizzy.
She has a dance to go to around 7 tonight. Heres her dress.
What hairstyle would work best with this white dress she is wearing tonight? I have to keep it very simple because I suck at doing hair. Her hair is sort of like Anne from Green Gables. Thanks

Heres her modeling the dress when she first got it. See her hair? She is the one in the white dress. Thank you

Hmmmm, I'm not the best at coming up with styles.  Can you french braid?  A simple french braid with the end tucked back up (no tail showing) might be nice.  A few mini flowers tucked into the braid would add a pretty touch.

Another favorite style is to just pull back the front sections into a barrette or pretty ponytail holder.  This helps keep the hair out the face, but shows off the pretty waves.

Aloe vera gel (or hairspray, if you must), can tame the frizzies.

Good luck and I hope they have a great time!

A simple updo would be perfect! Preferably one that she could redo herself if the need arises. Just gather the hair into a low ponytail (but without a hairtie) and twist the length all the way to the ends. Then pull the twisted ponytail up and secure at the crown with bobbypins or use a claw clip to hold the twisted ponytail to the back of the head. Arrange the ends around the top of the head however you wish and you're done.

When I was very young, my mother used to twist my hair up like this and secure it with bobby pins for when I was going to take a bath without getting my hair wet. But it actually makes for a simple updo which can be cute if done right. Good luck!
