Most commercial shampoos are more concentrated than you need.  To make it easier to lather your shampoo, just add a bit of water.  This can be done either by adding it to the bottle directly (after you have used some), or after putting the shampoo on your head, a quick dunk will add the necessary moisture to make lathering easier.
