Mimi's Sewing Boutique

I thought I'd pass this on to you guys since a lot of you are into handmade crafty things.  I found this woman on eBay - she was selling her custom knitting bags and diaper bags that were so chic.  I was in need of a purse, and she custom made one to my specs, with just the right sized pockets to keep me organized.  I didn't know I'd end up with extra room, so next time I'm going to get a couple of thin pockets to hold hair sticks if I take them out of my hair on-the-go.  Cheesy

Anyhoo, I was very excited about my cute purse that I wrote this recommendation in my blog -

Recommendation - Mimi's Sewing Boutique

PS - her Central Park Toile and Scroll fabrics are to die for!  I'm trying to refrain from ordering another bag.  For at least a couple more months.  Hahah

VEry Cool!  And kudos to you - she is "featuring" your bag on her website.  Grin

I have carried hand made handbags for decades - I found custom made bags were the only way for me to stay organized.  I'm so glad you found exactly what you wanted!

OMG I didn't notice!  I went to her page recently but didn't scroll down far enough.  How cool!

I told my best friend about her because she just had a baby and thought she might like a diaper bag, and she said one of the large tote with bigger pockets would be great as a workout bag.  The pockets can keep her shoes seperate from her other stuff.  So you could have a bag made for just about anything!

Your bag turned out looking good. I love custom made things.  I will take a look at the diaper bags, thanks for sharing.  Smiley

I'll add, that as a person who has been sewing since I was 7, that her construction techniques are excellent from what I can see on the page and her descriptions.  It looks like these bags will hold up to lots of use.
