Bikerbraid,

I love sending you the pictures.  Thanks so much for helping me.  I have a lot more unusual ones for the future.  I love long hair and love showing it to those few humna beings that appreciate long hair.  There are not mnay of us, I'm afraid, in this old world.  Long hair is soooh magical and majestic looking to me.  I love being a "longhair person"!  I always wanted long hair, but just got the courage to grow it long about the year 1999.

The internet has allowed us "longhairs" to not feel so alone in the world.  We're glad to have you here as part of this special "clan".  Cheesy

Bikerbraid,

I have always adored long hair, but as a straight, athletic man, have had no one to talk about long hair or share any pictures.  I love this "clan" and will post often.
If I post too mnay pictures, just tell me to stop.  Thanks for accepting me in the long haired world!!!!!  i have lots more pics to share.

Great pix, Blondestorm! Your hair is lovely.

My boyfriend is also a natural blonde and trying to grow his hair out...perhaps your pix will inspire him even further.  Grin

Keep growing.  Wink

Thanks for posting more pictures, Jim.  Its great you found us and we can share our appreciation for long hair.

What kind of sports are you into, and how do you handle your long hair while being athletic?

Sakina,

I am a USTA league tennis player.  I love playing competitive tennis, but I must braid my hair before playing.  I have tried ponytails, but the tangles are terrible afterwards.  I have also been a runner, played a lot of basketball and football all my life.  Tennis is definitely my game now!  I have the longest hair I have ever seen on a man on the tennis court.  Anna Kournakova had me beat though in length and hair beauty for sure.

Curlgirl,

I wear my hair in a single braid while playing tennis, and it doesn't bother me much.  A long ponytail is impossible though with it blowing in my face all the time. There are times when it whips around and covers my face and eyes.  I have never had the courage to be in public with my hair in a bun.  I did bun it at home before with a pen for a hairstick.  I may can find that picture to post.

I have some more pictures to post after Bikerbraid previews them.  I don't want to get too crazy with you wonderful people! Cheesy

Aw,you could never get crazy with pics for us Wink  I did mean to ask you if that braid whipped around when you
re moving on the court...ouch!  that can hurt if it whips hard enough!  The bun thing, well yeah I know in the house it's one thing and outside it's something else.  But boy I know it's tempting especially when it's hot and sticky out and you want your hair up and off your back!!!
Have you seen the hairsticks on this site for men??

Curlgirl,

Didn't you mention that you have been a runner.....even marathons?  How did you deal with your hair while running?

Whether I was body building or running I kept my hair in a high ponytail.  Can't and don't build or run anymore because of the MS.  I now practice Pilates for about 10 years and became a Yoga Teacher in Jan.2003.  So I still either braid my hair or it's in a bun or braided depending on what poses I am going to do is how I decide what to do with my hair!
