Okay, here is the Kosode I've been working on.

This is the outfit I am trying to make.
...
Lots of layers in this one, my next layer will be yellow and then the pants will be red. It hard to see in my pic but the Kosode is a cream color with a diamond pattern.  Neat thing about the Heian era - women's hair was down to the floor! Grin

Holy cow!!  I am amazed.  Will you have to put a similar collar on the 2nd layer as the first?

Anais Thanks! Grin  I just finshed attaching the collar flaps to the front peice.  That was realy hard!  Had to use hubby as a model, he even helped me pin it!  It still has more to go I'll keep you all posted!

wishingforlonghair Yes  and no sometimes when I make a huge mistake!  Over the years I made robes and small things but this is my first big project. Roll Eyes

Yeah, I like sewing too, but I get impatient quickly and frustrated when I make big mistakes.
