As the sun was setting in the West, Pedro and Rosita were sitting on one of the piers in Corpus Christi. It was a beautiful December night, as they looked up at the rising Moon. The setting could not have been more romantic, with the waves splashing a symphony of sound around them.

Pedro looked at Rosita and said, "Let's play Weeweechu."

Rosita glanced at Pedro and turned her gaze back toward the moon, adding, "Let's just sit here and watch the moon, Pedro."

Pedro replied, "Come on, Mamacita. Let's play Weeweechu. You say you love me, so won't you play Weeweechu with me?"

"Oh, Pedro, not tonight," the fair Rosita answered.
But Pedro insisted. "The setting is perfect. Please corazoncito, let's play Weeweechu." Rosita finally agreed and Pedro and Rosita picked up their guitars and their voices could be heard up and down the beautiful shore of the Gulf of Mexico.

"Weeweechu a Merry Christmas. Weeweechu a Merry Christmas Weeweechu a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year."

Merry Christmas! Now get your mind out of the gutter.

The gutter may be "funner", but Susan would probably fire me if we let that story go there!
