Kimberlily's hair...
Oct 26th, 2005 at 7:37pm

My hair... my obsession  Grin

July 2002... 6 months after the big chop.
...

October 2005... before defrizzing myself.
...

Fun with braids. I just did two pigtail braids and secured them with claw clips. It stayed all day, but the ends kept coming out (I just tucked them in... I guess I should have used pins!)
...

October/05... defrizzed.

Yea!  Another short hair grow out!

I had a very short pixie and have grown my hair out (initially out of frustration from not being able to find someone to properly trim my hair!).  Your hair looks lovely.  I particularly love the braids.  I like to wear my hair that way when working outdoors.

The sad thing is that my hair was the length it is now, when I chopped it. I've had short hair 4 times in my 31 years. When I was born, my hair was short Wink Once when I was 5 and got gum in my hair... my friend cut it out for me since we thought my mom would be mad. Once when I was 24 after a horrible perm (I had no choice - my hair was literally MUSH and I lost handfuls of it every time I showered) and last, when I was pregnant with my first child.

I vowed after that chop that I would NEVER AGAIN have short hair! When I am an old lady, my grandchildren will play with my long hair!

I know I said this on the new members' board, but I'll say it again: your hair is very nice! And that braided style is cute.

Very pretty!  Looks so soft and shiny, and I love the highlights in the last one.

Sara, my goal is mid-back. I've got another 6 inches to go, but I need a trim. I haven't had a haircut since April/05, and until 3 months ago, I was colouring my hair, so I have ratty ends. I'm getting 2" cut off, probably next month.

Actually, I had a pixie most of my life - this is only the 3rd time I've had longer hair!  Grin

Thanks so much ladies Smiley I consider myself pretty lucky, since I tortured my hair with chemicals until 3 months ago!
