Weird dreams.

Last night I started some new drugs to get rid of this bronchitis and fever. I had among other wild hallucinating dreams this one:
I come in the room to find my wife's hair shorter, but not real short. Hair is all the floor. I carefully pick it up, piece be piece, and tape it back.
Robin, you may find this interesting. In another dream, I work and work at chiseling my bike wheels out of solid cement. I am successful.
I always have hallucinations when I have a fever and fall asleep.

First off, let me send you 'get better' wishes, I have been quite under the weather myself
, so...GET WELL SOON!
Ok, now for the dreams...I hallucinate when having a high fever as well, it's quite scary sometimes, I always have from a kid. I don't need to be hallucinating to have crazy dreams, though- no help needed there- sometimes I wake up wondering what on earth would make me dream the things I do. One semi-recurrent dream I have is that I enter a room (any room will do) only to see that my husband has cut off his long, beautiful hair, and given himself a terrible home perm! His hair is just like frizzy, falling out, fried, and terrible...but he loves it and is so proud of it. I just keep looking at him thinking, this can't be real...god, I hope it's not real! And, of course, it never is (thankfully!) . As for my hair in my dreams, I usually wake up disappointed to my own "real" hair. I dream that I have got this long, gorgeous mane of hair, and I can just feel it swing as I turn my head- and then...reality...blah! Oh well!

Mr Rodent I got good news for you: hair shorter than the actual length is a worry off someone's mind, a problem solved.
I don't know about the rest.

Sir Rat;
I hope you will be back to the "rat race" soon. (Sorry, I couldn't resist!
)
I'm trying to picture your wife with all this hair taped back on - tell me - did you use transparent tape or duct tape?? 8)
Hmmm, bike wheels stuck in concrete - sounds like how I feel biking into a 30 mph headwind up a 30degree incline!! I'm sure the interpretation of this dream would be your ability to overcome some challenge that has had you very stuck (maybe being sick with bronchitis and now you are getting better?).
You always have such interesting dreams - makes me miss dreaming.... <sigh> Maybe you could share some of your hallucinatory drugs??

I was picturing masking tape. Probably because I've had my own masking tape-and-hair experience. And it wasn't a hallucination either!
I hope you get better soon, rattie!

Eeeeeeeek! Masking tape, oh such tormented memories......
My mother used to put a strip of masking tape across my bangs to cut them "straight" when I was young. Straight they never were. I didn't mind the masking tape going on so much, but coming back off.....<oh, shivers>!
no more masking tape, no more masking tape, no more masking tape.....
