Hi there!
Aug 18th, 2005 at 6:22am

Just introducing myself here,

My name is Rasonya and I found this site when I was surfing for hair info on the web.  I'd just had the perm from he** and vented pitifully in the help section.  Your kind replies were such a blessing and comfort. Thanks again!

From my post you've probably figured out, I'm a short, redhead, with hair that is, after the "disaster", at just between my waist and tush.

I had always had short hair, often above my ears, until I left for college. I started growing it out then and with the exception of a few overenthusiastic trims it has been growing out ever since. A year or two ago it was at its longest at classic length.  Unfortunately, it was full of dead ends and to get back to healthy hair meant cutting back to a little below waist length.  I'm really looking forward to getting back to classic length- so many things to do with it, so very feminine and romantic.

It is really neat to find out that there are other long haired people out there and it's great to learn all the hair care tips only the longlocked know!

Sonya

Hi and welcome!  Cheesy

I read about your perm disaster...you have my sympathies. BUT, with pampering and some time your hair will surely recover.

The hardest part of recovering your hair is patience.  However, you'll find lots of support here while on your journey.

Good Luck, and welcome!
