Broccoli Seed Oil
Aug 17th, 2005 at 9:56pm

Hey everyone Smiley,

Not so long ago I found a forum where people were raving about Broccoli Seed oil, but I can't remember where it was.  Does anyone here have any experience with this oil?

Oh, and when I tried to research it, I found this study in which they compared two identical conditioners except one had silicone (dimethicone) and one had  broccoli seed oil.  The study concluded that the broccoli seed oil conditioner worked just as good as the one with dimethicone.  I don't know if this study is legitimate, but if it is then wouldn't the broccoli seed oil also coat the hair and be bad, or no?

That's an interesting study.  I guess we should all be looking for Broccoli Seed Oil in our conditioners.

Thanks for sharing the link.

Really?! That's most interesting. Thank-you for sharing that!  Smiley

I do wish the study had suggested why this might be the case and perhaps went further to find out the long term effects.  Of course, this web site wants you to "buy" product, so I'm a little doubtful about the study.

Still, excellent reading, and something to try, especially in pure form, if one can obtain it.
