Accidental Hairstyle

Here's a style I came up with accidentally today. I had a scarf around my neck at work today, then went straight to a friend's house. It was a hot day, so I pulled off the scarf. I knew if I put it down somewhere I would lose it, so I wrapped it around my bun. Sorry the hair is a bit straggly, but the bun had been in all day.

Thanks all for the kind words. Isn't it funny how we can work on our hair for an hour when we're going out and end up with a mess, but just throwing something together when we're not going anywhere usually turns out great?

gabi - the scarf is wrapped between my hairsticks and my head, plus I tied a half-knot in it, so maybe that would help you keep a scarf on.

And thanks so much for the compliments on my hair - my hubby would like it if I went even redder, but I kind of like the mahogany look. The red highlights really show up in sunlight.
