OK, I'm a mamby-pamby, middle-aged hippy, so my favorite station is www.cities97.com. ; Kinda middle of the road stuff.

I almost always have the SKY New Age station playing on my winamp radio online. They play a lot of the music I like and I've found quite a few new names I like on there as well. Other times I'll search around for oldies stations or just put on Japan-a-radio for all my anime soundtrack needs. There used to be this neat station called Radio Rivedell that played fantasy themed music and soundtracks from fantasy movies, but I haven't seen them around lately.

Wow! Bardic, I listen to SKY New Age as well, and I my fave was Radio Rivendell. I was so bummed when it disappeared. I "ripped" about 24 hours of music off there before it left with the elves.

Greek_Lady, I'm uncertain as to what media player you use, but I would recommend WinAmp. It's free and Shoutcast has tons-o-stations with a variety of musical stylings.

Wow, we have similar tastes in music. Are there any artists you're particularly fond of? I'm in love with the music of David Arkenstone, Loreena Mkennit, Helen Trevillion, and Adiemus.

BB thank you. I'll check it out today

bardic love is there a link? or I should just put SKY New Age into google and see what comes up?

NR: I can use windows media player and winamp too. I haven't used winamp for quite some time, I got a quite old version because I love all the skins I've accumulated. Can you listen to online radio music (I mean not mp3's etc) through winamp?

Edit: I just reinstalled winamp and it found all my old skins that were forgotten somewhere in my hard drive and I got the new one with my kewl Virgin Islands skin! Yeahhhh
Bring on the music! Grin

Oh I love Arkenstone, his Celtic Book of Days is usually in the CD player and I just got his Atlantis CD. I've all of Loreena McKennit's CDs. I also like Mediaeval Baebes and Clannad.

As I'm sure you've already discovered, yes you can play internet radio on Winamp. Glad it was a treat to find all your old skins. Smiley Smiley

Sky New age is on winamp. Just go to media library, then to internet radio. I listen to all my online stations on winamp.

I got Atlantis only a while back and I love it. I just got Caravan of light and I love it. I'm slowly working my way to collecting all of the Loreena Mckennit cd's, I just really like her voice and the sounds and style of her music.

Live365 is a pretty good site.
www.live365.com
Some of the channels are pay-to-listen but quite a few of them are free and they have every kind of music under the sun.   Smiley
