Which one of these haircolors gives the best results? (if any of you ladies have used them)
The Loving Care Line or Natural Instincts. I have alot of roots, and I would just like to get back to my natural dark blonde hair color.
Thanks for all the answers!!
Belle

I haven't tried the Loving Care dye, but my dad liked to use burgundy colored Natural Instincts on his white hair and I tried using it once to see if it would work on my black hair. I didn't really see a change on mine. But because your hair is much lighter than mine is, it would probably work better on you. My dad's white hair came out really burgundy colored, and there was a slightly red tinge to his black hair. With each wash, though, the dye faded and eventually washed out completely.
HTH.

It's been a while, but to the best of my recollection, it was somewhat damaging and dried my hair a bit. I think all dyes would be to a certain extent. However, since it's supposed to wash out, it probably wasn't as damaging as permanent dyes.

My hair is slightly damaged, and I have about a 1/2" of roots that are driving me nuts, and I'm not sure what to do about it. So I wanted to get a color that wasn't as damaging until I could color it after it heals. What do you guys think?

I dye my Grandmother's hair monthly and both of these have been used on her hair. Her hair is also permed and Loving Care seems to leave her hair less dry...Though the color never lasts long.
If you want a hair dye that doesnt fade however, L'Oreal Preferance!! I used it SEVERAL months ago and to my dismay still hasn't faded!

I would suggest Natural Instincts by Clarol, it is not as damaging and fades very slowly leaving no roots as long as you pick a color lighter then the color you have now. And its true what Atlantis said about L'Oreal Preferance, it stays like forever.

I don't do it anymore but have you checked into Robert Craig. Some friends have used it and were very pleased with the results and condition...g

I have used L'Oreal Preference with great results. I don't think Loving Care seems to have the depth of color that L'Oreal products do and Natural Instincts is great to your hair but doesn't always cover roots if going lighter. That has been my experience.
