Patriotic hair

Who is going to do something special for the 4th?

I'm braiding red white and blue ribbons in 2 braids, wearing a flag bandanna on top, and finishing the braids with red blue and silver tinsel scrunchies.

Hi Hippychik - Good for you, ribbons instead of spray can  Grin - although those can be fun too.

Sounds cute...I'm not really a festive person, but that definitely sounds nice.

Cool idea - very patriotic!

I won't be doing anything myself (since I'll be at home) but I just thought of this idea if someone else wants to use it.  You can make a little flag and stick it in your hair.  To make a flag, cut a piece of rectangular paper twice the size of a flag, lengthwise.  Fold the paper in half.  Draw and color the front and back side of the flag, then put a large wooden toothpick along the seem on the inside.  Glue the stick to the paper, and glue the paper together as well.  There you go!  You'll just need the toothpicks ahead of time so you know how big to make your flag.
