Hey Sir Rat!  I think you stole that outfit out of my closet! (except the bare midriff).  Of course, I don't have Kirby's figure or youth, but, well, anyway.......  Roll Eyes

Hey Leia - you and Kirby could be hair twins!

Another great drawing you have done.  Thanks for sharing your fashion drawing.

That's a nice drawing!  As for the outfit, I tend to dress on the modest side, so I'd wear the skirt.

Nice picture, and yes I'd wear it. I love clothes like that. It's too bad I'm so short I have a difficult time finding things that fit me right.

Thank you, ladies! It looks like the long denim skirt and gypsy top did pretty well. I did three long denim skirt designs for a lady to use at her site, but only this one (of Kirby Ann) had a background and was the simplest design of the three.

The art is a computer painting program in which I use only the brush tool to mix color and create watercolor effects over a pencil sketch scanned into the machine.

Here is another type of art I do: (No backgrounds, just the model and her attire which I try my hand at designing.)

Would you all wear this summer style dress?... maybe with a matching white jacket? Does it look good with her long hair?

I like the dress, it's simple yet nice looking, and that's the kind of style I usually aim for. Are you considering styling clothes someday? The art is really good, I like it. Smiley

edit: I have to say I especially like this:

Very elegant looking, and I love oriental styled designs.

That's a very nice design! I think her long hair goes very well with the dress! Smiley

That is a very hard field to break into. I have floated designs at high fashion boards and have not done well. One of the complaints: The models' hair is too long. There is a general way you have to do it, ie. out of proportion legs on a figure that would weigh about 90 lbs. Not my style. Instead, I'm happy trying to finish my novels and rendering fashion art. Been doing this since a teen, only recently taking it a bit more serious.

Again, thank you all for your comments so far. Maybe I'll try some more outfits and art on you all later.

Robin, when you get back, I have a new chapter ready at Goddesses of '73. This is the one with the car chase near the end. Let me know if it's descriptive enough.
