Hi from Oz
May 16th, 2005 at 4:22am

Hi all,

Long (BSL), really dark brown (a couple of greys trying to creep in though), straight, thin, fine but in good condition haired Australian here.  Also really bad at doing hair, hopefully I will get some tips on one of my posts about that.
Usually wear my hair down, maybe a headband to go out, have a couple of great hairpieces, that stay in fine slippery hair, when going formal (solves the not being able to do hair problem).  Tie it in high ponytail when at the gym or english braid when cycling.  I am mild mannered secretary during the day but drive trucks on weekends (22 wheelers) for a bit of fun, english braid for that too.
Hope to pick up some good tips/ideas on website.

Hi and welcome!

For hairstyles, check our hairstyle forums. Also,  www.longhairloom.com/stylingstationcentral has many great hairstyling instructions, usually with pictures.

Welcome!
We've got a few others hanging around here from Down Under.  So you won't be alone with your seasonal changes.

Driving 22 wheelers??!!  Sounds like an interesting side job.  Braids are a great style for when you are active.  I also wear my hair in a braid when bicycling - can't seem to find a helmet that a bun would fit in!   Grin

I look forward to hearing more about you, your hair and everything Down Under!

Welcome!

How fun to have a weekend WARRIOR  Grin.

If the ponytail in the gym starts to hurt - I'm currently doing double buns for running.  Looks absolutely silly but really stays up great without pulling ;~) ...g
