progress pictures :D

i don't think ther's a lot difference to see with the ones i took at xmas since i wear different clothes and my ends tend to curl up a bit (i curse the layers for this!). but with three years ago it does make a difference. i hope they are inspiring, especially since i must have cut at least 10" since, and don't think i ever grew an inch a month:
2002 (somewhere around april maybe, front view was around my birthday, 4th may 2002):

thanks everyone/ oh yes, layers can be grown out. i even think the last 2" i cut made quite a difference. it's already way less pointy at the ends.

Amazing! Your hair really is stunning. Definitely gives me a bit of hope for my hair - it's only about an inch past my collarbones. You've clearly done a good job looking after it! Smiley

i loved my layers, and they were very deepones. but i think if ones goal is really long hair you better start growing them out befor you hit waist (they were still nice even at that length but somehow 4" past waist they started to get on my nerves). i am not sure now if i'll do big trims before i reach my goal, but then again it all depends on how it evolves. strangely after my last little trim i was suddenly happier with my ends (i planned to keep it at tailbone if i get there).

thankies  Grin
but i am not sure hair will look fuller as it lengthens, i even think getting length doesn't take that long, but working on volume, that's years of work! for that reason i would never just chop it all off if i find the end to thin. i'd keep it at length and be patient. the good thing bout longer hair is that eventually it will hit a length were it nicely stays behind the shoulders. i am still waiting for that to happen to my shorter "bangs".
