I had a "different" compliment not long ago.  Pictures of a group of kids that had been taken from the back of the sanctuary were posted on a bulletin board at church.  The backs of the heads of a number of people were in the picture.  Several newer members were asking who the young gal was with the shiny blonde hair that was in the picture.   

  It was ME!!     

I don't know what tickled me more - being referred to as YOUNG or their commenting on how SHINY my hair was.

I just thought I would reply to this post, because last weekend I was out shopping and overheard some very rude comments about my hair.

My Mother and I were the only two people down this particular aisle and she was wayyy down there. So this obviously was directed at me.

The first women says to the other. "Wow, look at her hair...She definitely needs to cut THAT." The other one then replies, "Yes, that hair would be soooo gone."

These women coincidentally had very masculine haircuts, that weren't particularly stylish. So I really just had to laugh and wonder, if my hair is the worst they've seen...They need to get out more!

LOL - I didn't think I had anything to contribute here but I have an Auntie (whom I dearly love but she is IMO hair challenged and vice versa) if she likes my hair I KNOW I'm in trouble.

I have whispies - big whispies which I wish would just grow up and join the rest of my hair.  She LIKES them .... ARRRrrrrgh.  Oh well ...g
