i need a good way to change my stick straigt (dry) hair to curly hair without a perm. i see girls who have naturally straight hair and some days wear it very curly. how should i do it? my hair is a little bit past my shoulders.  any way i can make it really curly from the top of my head to the bottom? Undecided

Snap 'n Wrap rollers or rag rollers are hair-safe methods for getting curls.  The more used, the curlier your hair will be.  Rolling the hair when damp, then letting it dry overnight in the rollers will give long lasting curls.

Pin curls, although considered old-fashioned, are another way to get nice curls without a perm.

Ooh ooh...
Sock
curls! I sock curl all the time now. It's basically like rag curling, except you use two socks (one for each side). As long as you use clean socks, lol! Grin It's also really easy to sleep in them, even with orthodontic headgear like me. Divide your hair into two halves, left and right.

Start curling one side with the sock: fold the sock hot dog style onto the ends of your hair. Roll up..... and tie the sock off. Repeat with other side.. and voila! But your hair has to be sufficiently dry (just SLIGHTLY damp).. because your hair won't dry easily in socks.

Anyhoo, just a weird suggestion for ya.
