Hi guys,
My hair is just under my scapula, it's very thin and wavy. I need to do an up do and i don't have many ideas. I don't really like any hair accessories because my scalp is really sensetive and i get headaches from anything too much stuff in my hair. I read that you guys all like buns :p and i like them too but i prefer something kinda messy looking. YOu know when it seems like i haven't really put much effort in when i actually did. I heard on TV about an up do when you do big curls at the top of your head and then make a ponytail and bend your hair in half. and then use clips to add wavy hair there, but i don't really remember the details. that sounds kinda nice becaue it didn't look too made up..anyways.. if you guys have any suggestoins please let me know

I wil try it out soon to know if i can do it myself. sounds pretty good.
Do you have any ideas with curly hair? i usually wear my hair straight and for special occasions i like to curl it so it'd be kinda nice to combine the two.

I have thin straight hair too, and for my college formal I got it done at the hairdressers.

I told her I wanted curls, and I didn't ant it pulled back and behind my head as then in the photos all you would see is a little black shine on the top of my head, making my long blond hair looklike short, sleeked back black hair.  So she washed it once with shampoo and twice with conditioner, then blow dried it.  Then she started curling it with ceramic hair tong things, sometimes loosley, sometimes more tightly.  The loose ones were what she called riboning. as she did this, she crossed locks over my heas so I had a real loose zig zag parting and some hair sort of draping on my forehead.  then she pined the tighter curls on the top o my head, leaving the riboningto cascade down from a point behind my left ear.

It took her about two hours to do (inclding washing and drying) but the pinning up only took five minutes.  It looked great, with a sort of haphazid look to it, as thought I didn't really care about what I had done to it but it just looked good anyway!
