I always have had a full foil using 2 colors highlight an dlowlight loved it. However I waited 4 months to have it done again and its the middle of winter where I am so I figured save some money and buy a hairclor from the drugstore to cover and try to blend my roots. Damn I was wrong. I ended up looking like a mis matched head. So I went to the salon and spend $160 to have it fixed the only prob was he used bleach on my hair. He could faintly see the old highlights through the dye so he used bleach to get rid of the greenish color and then the other color. It came out fine until I realized just how much my hair broke. It never broke so much and some parts were like gum. I miss the way my old hairdresser did it ti looked so good and I plan on gong back to her in june once my hair settles down and grows etc. My question is to  be honest I'm not satisfied and would like a refund because I speciafically ased if I would get a lot of breakage and he said not at all(this was my first time at this place I couldnt get an appointment in another salon) so when we rised it and combed it and styled it half my highlihgts were broken off on the floor! Its almost been a week and my hair is in terrible condition! I cant get it to look nice and glossy and its dry. I tried cholesterol and heavy conditioners. ANYONE KNOW OF something I can put in my hair to mend it??? Also anyone know how to go about getting a refund. I've never been so unsatisfied but the guy was a nice guy as well so its even harder me to pick up the phone to call and tell the salon I'm dissapointed. Any advice??? I sure wish I went to my regualr I know this would have never happened!

I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience.  Bikerbraid has good suggestions.  Just remember that your hair will bounce back.  I bleached my hair twice and thought it was all going to fall out, and yet it has stuck w/ me.  I used a honey and olive oil conditioner regularly after my bleaching incident and that was the only thing that got my hair feeling normal again.

I haven't used almond oil on my hair (big shocker since I actually have it in the house).  Is it as heavy as olive oil?  Do you prefer one or the other for a deep conditioning?

Thanks for the info Sakina.  I think I'll try this out and let you know how it goes.  I feel like my hair is really dry today after coloring.

Mayonaise and eggs and olive oil..  mixed together and left in for about an hour or so... it's a miracle worker.
