Put your hair in a braid or two until you're feeling well enough to take care of it again.

I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well...
I agree with e-Katherine - my hair is quite happy when I'm sick with a bug - cause I just braid it and leave it alone for days.... I brush it through once per day, then braid it up high on my head = that way all the 'good' oils get into every strand, it doesn't get brushed and bothered or washed, and with the braid up high (usually put up with one hair stick) it doesn't matter if I toss and turn in bed, or lean against the chair watching tv or reading - my hair doesn't get disturbed.  (and when I'm sick, no one wants to see me, so it doesn't matter how greasy it looks haha) So... I think my hair looks forward to being sick - ha ha ha

Once I had some stitches taken in my scalp and the Doctor told me not to wash or brush my hair for TWO WEEKS!!!  Shocked Cry I put it into two braids and the two week hell turned out not to be as horrible as I thought it would because with it in braids my hair didn't tangle and I didn't look too unpresentable  Roll Eyes when I went out in public. I sure was glad though went I got those stitches out and could give my hair a good washing and brushing.  Grin

When I am sick and in bed, I usually put my hair into one or two braids, put the braids into a sock and put a soft elastic on the sock to hold it on.  This protects the hair from a lot of abrasion while in bed.

Hope you are feeling better soon.
