So you can see the curl AND the length. Smiley

And yes, it is curly.

I wish I could get ticker curls though, mainly because (and no offense intended) I think my hair looks like some sort of greasy hispanic hair style...I'd just need a hair stocking to complete the look.
Any ideas on how to get my curls a little...ermmm..wider I guess? Not thin?

Have you tried wet-combing, Kaylin?

From what I understand, you just continue to comb through your wet hair at five minute intervals until it's dry.  It helps to loosen the curl in the front, and waves tend to clump together well, giving the look of fuller hair.

The downside is that you loose some of your curl in the process.  But, maybe you'll like the style.

So pretty! My hair is 2c wavy when it is at your length, but now my waves have calmed down to 2a! I miss my loose curls sometimes!  Smiley

Those pictures were taken when my hair was only 3/4 dry. When it completely dried, the curls were a little beefier.

I find that wet combing (Yes, I tried it), leaves me with a bit of a wavy, frizzy mess, even when I use a silicone smoothing agent.

I think the more I encourage the curl, the better off it might be. I've been blow drying for the last little while, and I think my hair just needs the chance to rest and relax a bit with the proper care.

Have you tried using a blowdryer with a diffuser attachment, Kaylin?  I've heard that it really helps keep the frizz at bay for those with curly hair....

Nope, I haven't tried the diffuser attachment.

Not sure if I will or not either because of the harm associated with blow drying.

Not only do I want my hair long, I also want it healthy too. Smiley

Sorry...I know that didn't come out the way I wanted it to...and I know it sounds (and Looks) really bad.

*shakes head*

To rephrase this, I think "Bad 80's Michael Jackson Hair A la Thriller Video or Billie Jean is not my Lover Video" might be more appropriate...that slick, wet curl kinda look...it's hard to describe without knowing the terminology correctly regarding hairstyles.

Alot of the hispanic males around here have the slicked back, wet curl look with a hair net. I realise that not all Hispanic people have their hair like this.

Think of the Bad Guy from the movie Batteries not Included.

*sighs*

Anyways, I am sorry if you took offense to this. It wasn't my intent to be offensive.
