I made a bun cover!!
Sep 8th, 2004 at 5:05pm

Hey Folks,

Yesterday I crocheted a rainbow bun cover! These things are so cool, I've never used one until today.
Here is a picture, a bit on the dark side.

Wooowie! I'm definitely doing this again.

Anais,

That is great!  I took up crocheting about 2 yrs. ago, but unfortunately, w/ my crazy life right now, have not been keeping up with it.  It reminds me of a really cool chenille hat I did for myself about a year ago.  Good for you, keep up with it.....I see many similarities between the two of us from our posts......life is so odd.....

Life IS odd, isn't it?? I agree with you, Maggie, that we have many similarities. Similar struggles, especially, but we just keep pushing on. Undying will of the Ephemeral Resistance.

I haven't worn this bun cover for at least a month and a half. It's a bit tight around the "center" and my bun volume is growing, Growing, GROWING Grin I'll probably put it up for swap on one of the hair boards. It should fit a bun diameter of minimum 2.5 to maximum 3.5 inches (I was really pushing it) and a bun thickness of up to 1.5 inches (but that's pushing it too). Gosh darnit! I hate growing out of my toys...  Wink

Thanks everybody and hugs Kiss
