Aug 16th, 2004 at 10:43am

i dont know if there's already been a discussion on this but i was just wondering what eveyones hair goal was?

my short term goal is to classic (42") and my overall life goal is to get it to my knees (56")....beyond that i feel i wouldnt be able to care for my hair myself, i dont want to depend on others....what if im stranded on a desert island by myself??  Grin

Seems we have the same goal Grin
I would like to reach knee-length too,I also feel I would not be able to manage it beyond that length,I already have some difficulties at the moment in this hot&humid weather Tongue

I think I'm going for classic at this time (only a few inches left).  I then plan to trim it to even out the ends more.  This would probably bring me to hip or possibly waist length.  Then let it grow, let it grow, let it grow!

Right now my hair is just above my belly button, I think I would like it to my hips or to classic length

I am planning to grow my hair until I get sick of it, or until it feels unflattering, or until it starts looking unhealthy. I'm thinking waist length, but who knows!

The only real goal I have set for now is to reach BSL, and then start evening up the ends. I should really start the evening-up process earlier - as soon as I can comfortably put my hair up maybe.  Grin

Great topic, Flaming Bunny  Grin
Short term, I'm shooting for hip length (hip length is about 32" on me). After that, it's classic! woohoo.. seems Drummergirl and I have the same goal. but being shorter, you'll reach yours first I bet.

Waist length for me.  I've never had it that long at any
point in my life, and I'd like to see what it looks like.
If it still looks good and healthy at that point, I might
try for classic if my hair will get that long.  I've decided
to start growing out my bangs, too, although I think
I look better with them, maybe it will give me more
volume.

Me too! My next goal is tailbone, only a few inches away. Then I'll cut it when I don't like it anymore.

i'm not sure how long i want it - it's about 4 inches or so from waist length - so i'm going for that now - and then i think i'll just keep it there and let some of my shorter hairs grow out - i don't have layers - but i do have alot of shorter hairs - but it would be nice some day to find out my terminal length - maybe later

okay, i'm gonna start posting more, i swear  Tongue

anyway, my short term goal is to get it back to BSL  (approx.  6-8"/1 year left) and my long term is to classic length (approx 18"/1.5-2 years)

but, when all's said, done, goals reached.  i'm going to cut it off to a more flattering length (BSL probably) and donate it somewhere, that'll actually put it to good use  Smiley

I'm going for "belt length" for my next goal. I estimate it will take another two years. There is no guarantee my hair will grow that long so I will be happy with what I get.

My goal used to be midback but Im going for classic length now. I saw a picture of a lady with hair down to her ankles and It was beautiful it made me re think my goal and I might even let it grow and never cut it. Depends on whether I get tired of it or not.  Wink Ill have to put my hubby and my son to work. Wink
