I just found this No Rinse Laboratories product in my local drugstore while looking at hairtoys. (Hairtoy selection good) According to the label:
- Soft, clean, manageable hair without water
- Ready to use, absolutely no water necessary
- Just apply, lather and towel
- Hospital tested and approved
- Leaves hair fresh, clean and odor-free
- The choice of healthcare professionals throughout the world.
- Used by NASA astronauts on all space shuttle flights.
Ingredients: Water, triethanolamine lauryl sulfate, propylene glycol, cocamide DEA, fragrance, diazolidinyl urea, methylparaben, citric acid.
Directions: Apply generously until hair is completely wet. Massage to a rich lather. Immediately towel dry with an absorbent towel. Repeat for heavily soiled hair. No Rinse Shampoo can be used as often as necessary.
The ingredients sound pretty innocuous. I think I'll give it a try sometime for a scalp wash when I'm desperate and have no time to do a regular wash.
Actually, it sounds like somthing our campers could really use this week.
