Tried Head Band Yesterday
Jun 14th, 2004 at 2:27pm

I posted a thread several days ago about "Alice Bands" that guys seem to be using now. I thought I'd try it and see if it worked for me.

...

It worked great for keeping some of the shorter front hair out of my face. It was a little hard trying to figure out how to get the thing on but with my wife's help - success!  Cheesy

It's different but I don't think it's really any more feminine than my half up tail. I think I'll try it more often.

Looks good!  Glad you tried it. As for what others might think.....once your hair gets beyond the normal for society, you are already marching to your own beat, so you might as well style it how you like!

I wear pigtail braids quite often - not exactly a style people think of for a 50-something female.  But they work well for controlling my hair in windy conditions and while biking, so I keep on braiding!

Thanks for sharing your pic - I'm sure you are an inspiration to the other guys that might be a bit more shy around here.
