I am posting several pictures of my hair in a bun with a hair stick I bought at Sally's. It was a very hot and humid day so I figured this was an easy way to cope with it.




I expected that my hair would be a mess when I took it down since I perspired a lot. Much to my suprise it came out kinda nice.

Have you tried doing the figure 8 bun which was discussed in another thread  (I think under trendy hairstyles)? I'm sure it would suit you!

Wow! I think I like that one better! I love those bigger buns, they always look so interesting.

And while it's a fun schoolmarmy touch, I suppose pencils aren't -quite- the thing nowadays. You should try using a hairstick which contrasts significantly with your hair color, I liked that effect that the pencil gave!

Yep - I found that out the hard way Bikerbraid. The bun was also twisted too tight I think. I did some damage I'm sure.

Oh well live and learn I guess. I won't be using pencils any more.
