A question on bangs
Apr 14th, 2004 at 5:34am

Hi, I've decided to grow out my bangs sooner rather than later. A quick question I have is what length do they have to be before they can be tucked behind your ears (and stay there). In terms of where they sit on your face will do since I imagine the actual length is different for each of us. Also, I don't want to go for a center part, so I am looking at more of an off-center part. Is there a rule of thumb?

Thanks

M

Chin length would probably typically stay behind the ears.

As for the part, that is a personal preference.  My part (when I have one) is slightly off center due to a spot at my hairline where my hair does not grow.  Most people don't even realize it.  Many people will use a side part in order to give more lift to the hair.

Good luck in growing out your bangs.... I think they are the toughest part of growing out hair.
