George Michael
Feb 10th, 2004 at 3:45am

I got some of George Michael hair care products from "The Enchantress" salon online.  I was kind of dissappointed with it.  The shampoo, 60 sec. hair conditioner and creme rinse smells kind of plasticy.  It made my hair fluffy but a little frizzy.  The 12 min. conditioner is very thick and waxy feeling, and did okay on my hair, but I've gotten better results from Aveda and Joico.  The George Michael products were $50.00 and I guess I was expecting more.   Cry

BTW- I got a heating cap also from the same site for $30.00 and it works GREAT!   Smiley

I've heard so many wonderful things about the GM products, I'm sorry to hear they don't live up to your expectations.  I know of at least one site where you might be able to resell them to try to recover some of your costs.  PM me if you are interested in more information.

For my fine hair the George Michael products are an old and trusted īstand-byī,I have used them on and off for around ten years. But I only like the shampoo/60 sec.cond/rinse-I really disliked the 12 min.cond, made my hair feeling waxy, too.
Also they only work during the summer months for me,in winter they are not moisturizing enough.

How odd that we have such extreme differences of opinion on this one... I despise George Michael products and have never used one I liked even remotely.

Yes,I guess with G.M.products itīs either love it or hate it Grin I think they work for me because although my hair is fine and long itīs also quite oily-itīs only slightly dry in winter. The G.M. shampoos are not all that gentle and the conditioners are rather light. But the rinse(diluted with water) is one of the best detanglers ever, even though itīs silicone free-it gets rid of any knots&tangles.

Hi, again!   Cheesy  Well, to continue my George Michael Saga, I discovered that the evil frizzy hair culprit was the GM cream shampoo I used.  I tried the products without the shampoo, and also used them with a more moisturizing shampoo (Nexus Botanoil) and they worked a lot better.  The 12 min. conditioner made my hair really shiny, but it does seem kind of waxy and I probably wouldn't use it all the time.

Do you think that the shampoo is too drying?

Know what?  I just realized that it's Paul Mitchell stuff I don't like... I've never tried George Michael products.  These guys have to get themselves real last names :x

LOL!
