Has anybody experiences with pearls woven into hair? A few years ago I saw an arabic bride whose hair jewelery were little crystal pearls they had fixed into her (down worn) hair. The sparkling was just gorgeous!

I've not had pearls in my hair when down, but I did braid some rhinestones into my hair once.  I knotted the stones onto monofilament line, with each stone about 3/4" apart.  I had 2 "threads" like this and just added them to the sections of hair I was french braiding.  The stones looked like they were attached to my hair.

I did an up do with pearls in my hair - I used fake ones that were strung already from a craft store, and I also used a fancy shiny ribbon as well.  My hair had been in curlers and I had pinned all the curls up on the top of my head - then I wove the strands of pearls and ribbons through the curls pinning as necessary - it worked really well too for the effect (it was for a themed party at my ballroom dance studio).
