There do not seem to be so many people posting on here these days but nevertheless I thought that I would post the attached link to show off how I was doing. What do you think?

I have added a another photo of my hair this time in a plait, or a braid as you folks in the US say. I do not find it very easy to do a plait and I don't think it was quite right but it was a very windy day and everthing stayed together all day!

It looks like you missed one of the cross overs, but otherwise I think its a very nice braid. Your hair looks very healthy and thick in the closeup.

Thanks to you all for the comments. Yes my hair is really thick - in fact my hairdresser says that it is one of the thickest heads of hair she has had to deal with! Not too bad for a 60 year old I guess. I think that it is this thickness that makes plaiting difficult for me
