hey everyone :)
i have classic length hair that i wash roughly 2 times per week.  i wear my hair in a bun almost every day.  i started getting these itchy red bumps and red patches on my scalp a few months ago.  however they are only at the nape of my neck on my scalp and along my hairline.  now it's getting worse.  has anyone ever experienced this?  i'm wondering if i need to wash my hair more?  i have oily skin and my hair does get oily...i'm wondering if that has something to do with it.  my sis-in-law who is a hair stylist suggested that i put tea tree oil in my shampoo thinking it might be a bacterial sort of thing...but it doesn't seem to be making a difference.

Hi, faerhi.  I suggest that you go to a dermatologist.  It sounds like eczema to me.  If you want a more holistic approach, find a naturopath or homeopath.
