Hey gang!  This past week has been a good one and I thought I'd share some of it with all of you.

1.  I officially hit the weight loss of 50 pounds since I started my "long term - I must change" program back in Feb 2006.  It hasn't been the fastest weight loss, but I feel great, and I know I can keep up with this routine.  I would like to lose another 20, but I'm very happy where am at right now.

2.  I've lost another size in clothing since this past spring.  I'm sure the commuting to work on my bike had a little to do with that!!  

3.  A friend I haven't seen in about a year did a "jaw drop" when they saw me.  They said they almost did not recognize me.   :)

4.  MY CAR ARRIVED!!!!!  I am now a proud owner of a Toyota Prius Hybrid car.  Boy is it quiet!!  Very strange starting it up - just push the big "On" button.  No key in the ignition - the key fob just has to be in the car somewhere (pocket, purse, where ever).  (I still biked to work this morning, however).

5.  I have been put in charge of a new business line of software at work.  I LOVE new challenges!

That is so wonderful that you have lost 50 lbs!!! Slow weight loss is better than no weight loss.

I am into my second week of a 2 week vacation and it has been pretty good so far.  I just wish we had more money to do more things like go out of town more often and shop 'til we drop :P

And the weather has been pretty nice, actually it is kind of on the cool side for this time of year so far 8-)
