I have never seen the show "America's got Talent" but a coworker who does told me about an amazing singer on last night's show.  She went on to say that he sang opera, "...and I don't even like opera!"  She told me that this guy is an alumnus of the university where we work, blah, blah, blah, and I went "Wait a minute--was he a big guy??"  I knew immediately who she was talking about.  

Neal E. Boyd...  Good Lord in heaven, what a voice.  If you haven't already done so, please give him a listen.  And if you don't have tears in your eyes by the time he finishes then there's something wrong.

My wife and I watched the whole 2 hours of America's Got Talent and if Neal does not win the $1,000,000 they should just cancel the show :o
I am not the biggest fan of opera myself but he made it sound great just like Pavarotti did.  What a voice :)

I hope he does even better in Las Vegas.

I never did watch the show   ;D  instead I watched him on youtube.  I'm happy Neal won because I do believe his voice is amazing.  However, I can't help but feel that he was never in danger of losing.  I don't mean to say the contest was rigged...but I think the outcome had been decided long before the final showdown.  *shrug*  Or maybe I'm just a cynical woman!   :)
