Title: Get a Haircut!!!

Hi gang, I was out doing errands yesterday, so I stopped for a soft drink at the local fast food place. As I was leaving, I heard, "get a haircut!! I didnt think it was directed at me so I continued on my way. Yep, it was directed at me, I heard it again, I turned around, and said why? "God created me as a woman, therefore I look and dress like a woman. He shut up. Had no answer for me. I think he was embarrassed that I asked him why. My hair is fingertip length now, so I suppose it is longer than what he maybe used to seeing. But that is no excuse for being rude.

Debr,ya know the saying that some people sit on their brains?
Well he not only sits on his brains,he fits his foot in his mouth pretty well,too!!

People asking questions like that confound me. :-? Why in the world would anyone feel it necessary to blurt out a question like that to a total stranger? You made a good come back Debr - good for you!

I'm just wondering how he could possibly feel that what you do with your hair is any of his business. But you definitely told him! ;)

Yes, Valerie, I usually do too, but this time I just wanted to know "whY" I needed to get a haircut.

Today I was asked by a fellow co-worker how many HOURS a day do I spend combing my hair? I wasnt sure how to respond as it doesnt take HOURS to comb it. I dont know if he thought it should take a real long time to comb or care for each day. I did notice he acts like it bugs him. I got the impression if I were his mate, then my hair would be compettion for him. Naa, no contest there.
