Hello!

I have natural red hair, but it's not very bright, I love deep deep reds. I like my hair color but I would love to add deeper red to it. I was going to try the beet juice/ carrot juice recipe, but I have a few questions. Will the color fade like a dye, or will it otherwise make my hair look...off? And will it affect any highlights/lowlights that I will add to my hair once I get back to the states?
