From the Minneapolis Star Tribune, by Sara Glassman:
Quote:
I guess this means that those of us who love Burt's Bees products for being natural, better watch the labeling to make sure they don't change our favorites! |

I agree. I just love their lip balm. Hmmm---for $925 million?

Wow!!! This is very surprising. Is anything safe from being bought out?

I'm so surprised, I use their lip balm (but maybe not anymore :-?). It's so shocking that they would sell to a company best known for bleach. I guess money talks... :-/

Clorox is trying to improve its image and "clean up" its products. They claim they won't change the formulas for Burt's Bees products. It would be great if that were all true. I too love their lip balm and a few other of their products. I guess we will just have to watch the ingredients to make sure they don't change.

this makes me a little sad. it does also explain why i've had a hard time finding some of their products lately-maybe they are slowing a little to make the transition of ownership. i hope they don't change their great lotions, face wash and lip balm.
could it also be linked to how expensive honey is getting with the unexplained disappearance of many species of bees/ |
